Professor Alan McKinnon, who is a researcher in the Centre and Professor of Logistics at Kühne Logistics University, recently presented a webinar on options for achieving deep reductions in freight-related emissions. The presentation uses a “green logistics” framework and includes supply chain restructuring, freight modal shift, improved asset and energy utilisation and a switch to lower-carbon energy sources.
